It is actually Tuesday evening here... 5:00 PM. I'm getting ready to head over to get something to eat and then the office. My shift is 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. It really is strange getting off in the morning and coming back that night. It seems like you're working twice a day instead of one shift. But I've been sleeping good. Had to take Benadryl today though... I've had a very runny nose and cough. So pray that this congestion goes quickly. This week is major important and I need to have my voice. I did find some Hall cough drops at the local store though, so that is a good thing.
It was fabulous to meet the new hires and to reconnect with the ones that were trained last November. The previous "batch" of trainees are doing well. They are proud of their accomplishments and seem confidence they are making the mark. The new "batch" is equally excited to learn and do well. That sure makes a trainer's job so much easier.
Angie and Colleen from NDM are here, they are in week 5 of 7. But they are doing great. The difference between now and when I was here in the winter is that we see sunshine! Before it was still dark when we left work in the morning, and already dark by the time we would get up in the early evening. Now... SUN! Being a California girl, I'm used to 360 days of sun a year. :) This trip is going to be much better.
They are going to the Taj Mahal this weekend, but I'm staying here and resting to get over this conjestion. I can't wait until the following weekend to go to Jaipur though! Other than day trips to Delhi, that's probably the only sightseeing trip I'll make. But who knows! There is so much to see in this area. It is so rich with history and culture I love taking in as much as I can.
Thank you all for your comments, it truely an encouragement to me! So leave your comments here!
