Thank You

 

Thank you all for your well wishes for my birthday. It really means a lot. The hotel even had a little party for me that evening. They had a delicious pineapple cake with jelled kiwi top. The cake was lovely, and you can see a picture of the festivities on the picture album. Guest relations, the evening managers and Angie were all there to watch me cut into it and NOT get smeared! Then they gave me the incense box and the roses in the picture above, as a gift. Wow, it was a very nice gesture! Thank you, Crowne Plaza!

This week we have gotten into critical steps for loading. Everyone is tired... too much thinking... change in the weather... Even the security guard was sitting on a chair asleep. One time I and most everyone else was so tired, I had everyone lay their heads down at their places and take a 10 minute nap. The toll of that night shift is wearing on us all.

Angie is blending in excellently. Her batch (which is what they call the group of new hires)like her. She really has picked right up where Seth left off and is running with it. Seth and Angie make a great tag team.

Julie is doing great too. She hasn't been sleeping well this week though. We have two more days and then I think she will probably sleep all weekend!!

I have some studying to do on ppoONE before work tonight, so I need to hit the books. But thank you again, all. I had a nice birthday.
