More Plans

More plans have been developing... finally. So let me update you on what I know.

I will be going to India to do training for the company I work for. I'll be training about 16 people. The office is in a city called Gurgaon. For information on the city, click HERE. It is a suburb of New Delhi, only they call it a satellite city.

It is fast becoming the Call Center capital of the world I think. But don't get so excited... I'm not training call center people. :) I will be training for 6 weeks, so total I'll be away for close to 7 weeks. I think I found a picture of the office: Here. We will see how correct I was!

Julie W will be going with me to support the training efforts and a couple other people from our sister organization will be training at the same time. Seth & Angie.
The training dates have been set, so I'll be leaving around 10/28. I will be scheduling all that on Monday. I should be returning some where around 12/13.

We will be staying at a hotel in Gurgaon. I have been told it is a very international hotel, so it will be fun meeting people from all over the world.

A driver will be provided to us who will help us in getting to the office, going to eat, shopping, and understanding the culture and the currency.

Julie and I are going to schedule a weekend trip to the Taj Mahal. If anyone has other suggestions, please leave your comment!
