ICE


Today I am giving up ICE. While this doesn't seem like much, it has become a habit. For the next week, YOU count the times you've had ice. Then post in as a comment. It is harder than you think.

The doctor warned me I am a higher risk of stomach issues because I'll be over there for so long that I have to be VERY careful not to let my guard down.

So I decided to stop "enjoying" ice now. That way I won't feel like I'm being punished when I'm there. Although, one of the girls that had previously been there told a story how they would ask the hotel to put a bottle in the freezer for them. Maybe that will be my Friday treat.

  1. My cups are filled to the brim with ice and then I add water. LOVE IT. I learned while on our world trip that most places (even if the water is good) don't really put ice in drinks like here in the states. I missed it terribly. Mostly drank coke from a bottle (those cool old fashioned ones) or bottled water. Stick to things in bottles and you won't realize you're missing ice.
